Where Are You Now? (“the app”) helps you see which country your invited friends are in. We designed it to collect as little data as possible.
Only people you connect with via an invite link can see your name, country, time zone, and country history. We do not sell your data.
The app requests location permission to determine your country. Location is checked periodically in the background (about once per day). You can revoke permission in your device settings; the app will stop updating your country.
Data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore) in the United States. Connections use encrypted HTTPS.
Sign out and delete the app from your device. To request full account deletion, contact us at the address below.
The app is not directed at children under 13.
